Most Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

Each Digi Contact™ Plan has a nominal set-up fee – please see individual plans for details.  Once you have reviewed and approved your design the first subscription payment is charged via debit or credit card and thereafter monthly payments are collected via direct debit for the agreed minimum period.  These payments cover general maintenance,  development, design, hosting, SSL certificates, mailbox, domain name, and technical support.

There are no cancellation fees after the minimum term has been fulfilled.  All of the Digi Contact Plans are monthly or annual with a no-risk, no questions asked guarantee. If for any reason you need to end your subscription plan after the minimum term, you have complete freedom to do so. Your plan is simply billed out for the month or year that it is paid for.

Choosing a subscription plan is not mandatory.  You can choose to pay the full amount for a reduced fee.  Alternatively,  in the unlikely event that after a maximum of 3 revisions, you are not satisfied with the design created for you, you can opt to not have the design published and therefore end your agreement.  For clients but is highly recommended because of the importance of security, optimisation, updates, backups, support, etc.  That said, if you choose to forgo a care plan, you’re welcome to. You will, in that case, assume complete responsibility for the website updates, security, backups and other services laid out in this plan by reviewing our LIABILITY CLAUSE that releases us from any involvement if and when the website is breached, hacked or performs slowly because the lack of proper optimisation.

It is highly recommended that you continue your subscription fee after your minimum period because it is essentially an ongoing maintenance service for your chosen product eg website or landing page.   Maintenance includes security, optimisation, updates, backups, support, etc.  That said, if you choose to forgo a subscription plan after your minimum term period, you’re welcome to. Absolutely! If you decide to come back to me within 30 days after having initially passed on the original design there will be no additional set-up fee.  See the ‘Are there any setup fees?’ question above for additional information if it has been more than 30 days.

I will always try to get your updates done within 1 hour to save you some extra cost but if you have a decent amount of updates that will require more hours, I will give you an estimate of time and do that at our hourly rate which is reduced for you as a special, monthly care plan client!

In this case, you are welcome to handle it in house by reaching out to my preferred malware and blacklist removal specialists Sucuri or if you would like to join my plan and have me take care of getting the hack cleaned, I have a £499 site cleaning/set up fee.
Depending on the type of hack/breach and how long the site has been compromised, SEO rankings and blacklisting issues may take weeks or even months to resolve and in some cases will require additional work to recover from.
Important note: I do not fixed website hacks unless the site will subsequently be added to one of my subscription maintenance plans.

In the extremely unlikely event that a website is breached or hacked in any way while on Digi Contact™ plans, I take full responsibility and will rectify the situation immediately. You will not need to do a thing.

I will take on websites that I didn’t  build as long as they use the tools that I am familiar and comfortable (or can learn quickly) with.  Additionally, the site’s hosting must be one that meets my requirements.

Absolutely! If you choose to have us host and maintain additional sites under your account, you will get a 30% discount (monthly or annually) for every site you add which will be active for as long as I host and maintain the sites.

Negative on this one!  The retainer of hourly updates is covered for that month but does not rollover or add up for later use.

Your monthly time (for premium plans) covers any updates, additions or add-ons to your website.  For example, changing hours, company information, staff or team members, adding new photos, updating services pages, etc.  While I do my best to get updates done within your allotted time, if more time is required, I can do so with our hourly retainer which for you is discounted!

Please note: The allotted monthly time is for work or updates on the existing website and cannot be used for other projects or a step-by-step website revamp.  I am happy to do those things either via our discounted hourly rate or via a discounted and separate fixed project!
